· ENGLISH

According to the Chinese customs data, Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Huawei”) shipped 1,130,86 units, ranking first in the industry in the first half of 2019. Shenzhen Growatt New Energy Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Growatt”) ranked second with a total of 86,153 inverters shipped. Ningbo Ginlong New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Ginlong Technology” ") shipped inverters of 78,114 units, ranking third. Sungrow Power, Goodwe, Sofar Solar and Sunny Energy are also ranked high.

Strong exports to Europe

The recent growing photovoltaic region of the Netherlands has attracted a large number of shipments. Among them, Growatt sold a total of 43,487 inverters and Huawei shipped 34,230 units. The export volume of Goodwe, Ginlong, Sungrow Power, and Sofar Solar in the Netherlands was 29,233, 6,228, 3,550 and 8,849 respectively.

The booming new energy industry in the UK market has also made the products of companies such as Ginlong and Sunny become popular there. Both companies have a large amount of shipments to the UK.

On the whole, the regions where Chinese shipments to Europe grow faster are mainly distributed in the Netherlands, Italy, and the United Kingdom. In the future, Belgium and Poland are also prospective markets.

Australian and the American market are also increasing

Besides Europe, more companies are targeting Australia in the southern hemisphere. In the local area, the higher export of inverter manufacturers are from Ginlong Technology, Growatt, Goodwe, Sunny, etc. The shipments of these companies all exceeded 10,000 units there.

In 2009, the local Australia PV subsidy policy was introduced. At the end of last year, the country’s total installed capacity exceeded 11 GW. Among them, the installed capacity of small roofs is expected to reach 10GW this year. Since a large number of Australian households are independent villas or houses, as well as a large number of separate public buildings and commercial facilities, they provide relatively convenient conditions for the use of distributed PV products.

In both North and South America, inverters shipment in Argentina, Brazil, Mexico and other places are booming. For example, in Mexico, Growatt has shipped a number of 4,420 units, while Goodwe and Ginlong have high shipments, too. And Brazil has also attracted many Chinese manufacturers.
